"Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do" -Goethe

My primary goals are to help you achieve symptom relief from the difficulties that brought you to therapy, and to support your ability to maintain these changes to create a life that is meaningful and fulfilling over the long-term. I believe that the best way to do this is to help you identify and modify cognitive, behavioral, and relational patterns that prevent you from living the life that you wish to live.

My style is practical, collaborative, and characterized by warmth and compassion. I value creating a strong therapeutic alliance and a non judgmental space in which we can examine your challenges and establish a focus for our work together. My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based as well as psychodynamic treatments, including: cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, the trauma resiliency model, and interpersonal psychotherapy.
